I would like to share with you a recent successful strategy I made for a local women’s clothing store using Facebook ads + Messenger bots which went pretty successful.
The craziest thing is that this store did not count with an e-commerce. They have been using a simple landing page to get people to their store and that’s about it
So they contacted me and we have started since then the following strategy
Facebook ad:
The first thing we did was to create a nice video slideshow ad. Less than 10 seconds, but enough to show in a nice way some of their most sold clothes of the year.
We added a compelling offer. 50% discount in some clothes. The discount would expire once the stock was over.
The copy had to be really good, short and have enough information to keep the customers interested. There was a CTA in the copy saying “If interested, please comment ‘price’ for us to send you information.
I optimized the ad for video views and targeted it to a LAL audience of the page followers who according to my client, were mostly clients since they had been growing their page organically.
Messenger bot
The messenger bot would send after 8 seconds of the comment a message providing the information
Then it mentioned that in order for the girls to claim their offer they had to mention the 50% discount in the store.
In 4 days so far, 390 women have messaged, but only about 139 kept replying and asking for more information
After these 4 days, the local clothing store has informed me that she has sold about 40 pieces with the discount and is about to finish the stock.
Crazy huh? They finally got rid of that 2017 stock and are ready to start selling their new collections
And the best is that she is making many new clients very interested to buy once her new collection comes out.
